To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Diagnosis please? About 3 weeks ago I was diagnosed with Herpes simplex 1 Enchefilitis [encephalitis]. After 7 days in hospital, on anti viral drips and medication, I was discharged. Since then, I have felt even worse. I went back into hospital last week when the neurologist suggested I under go a blood patch. He said that the headaches and very low blood pressure where due to a probable spinal fluid leak caused from my previous lumber puncture. The neurologist sent for blood tests (yet never really checked them). He sent for a FBC and EBV test. The results where as follows: I have since been discharged from hospital, still with explanation as to what I have. I suffer from such extreme headaches, the glands under my arms are very swollen, I am dizzy, have no appetite and in general, have no energy to do anything. If anyone has had a similar experience, or has perhaps been diagnosed with something and been treated accordingly, please let me know. I am desperate to get my life back together. I am so run down and lethargic. Please help Comments
