it saved my life

it runs in my family which sounds odd… but it does. i have my yearly pap’s and nothing ever came out abnormal. Me and my fiancee found out i was going to be expecting and as anyone who has had a child knows you get an exam when you first go to your doctor. He called me and made an appointment to come in and talk about my abnormal pap results. Turns out i had stage three cervical cancer i went and had my biopsy two weeks later and am awaiting my results.

I hope its ok he gave me a positive outlook that i am still able to have a normal pregnancy and have surgery to remove it after i have my first child. I thank God every day for my blessing, we tried for so long… he has his time and his ways

I have always been one to have my yearly pap tests done without fail, they always came back good and I never had a problem. Well I became busy working, raising three children on my own, and forgot about me. [more..]

I was also diagnosed while I was pregnant. After my son was born (now 18), I worried that I had passed the cancer on to him. I checked for lumps in him daily and never had a second child because of my fears. [more..]
