To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download cin 3 I had my first pap smear test at the age of 20 because I had just started a sexual relationship. I missed several follow up appointments due to work, uni, having children, no time ….. Went for my 2nd pap smear when I was 28 and it came back with mild abnormalities. 6 months later next smear was normal 6 months later 4th smear showed mild abnormalities again. 5th smear showed ’severe dyskaryosis’. I was referred immediatelt for a colposcopy where a further smear and punch biopsy confirmed Cin 3. 2 weeks late had a lletz / leep procedure done. Have developed a nasty infection as a result and am still waiting for my results to come back and hopefully confirm cin 3 only and tell me they got it all out. I wish I hadn’t left getting my pap smear test done for so long when i was younger, maybe then I wouldn’t be in the boat I’m in now as I would have been referred a lot sooner. Comments
