To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Cervical Dysplasia Battle I am 17 years old. I have been battling cervical dysplasia for two years. I go to my gynecologist every three months for a pap test. I went in to have the “leep” procedure in March 2007. I have had multiple cryo-therapies that seem to help but don’t make the dysplasia go away. The “leep” procedure seemed to help greatly. I went in about two months after the procedure to have my pap test. It came back abnormal yet again. I am in the process of finding a new solution to make the dysplasia go away. I want everyone who is battling this to know that there is a solution. It may seem like it is taking forever and is getting old but it will be solved. I am fortunate to have a doctor that is there every step of the way trying to help me. He doesn’t want to do the cone byopsy because of my age and the fact that it will be very difficult for me to concieve a child or carry a child to term. I am keeping my head up and not letting this affect my everyday life. I want people to do the same and stay strong through this. It isn’t easy but I have been told since I was little “God doesn’t give you something that he doesn’t think you can handle.” Everything is a learning experience and another chapter in your life story. Don’t give up! Comments
