  i am 21. my pap last year came back with abnormal cells and i was prescribed the metro gell but i never went back for my follow up. i just had my yearly pap done a few months ago and again it came back abnormal and i was prescibed the metro gell. [more..]

  iam 25 years old and have been married for three wonderful years ,ready for a baby, i went to my doctor to have my yearly check up, and start planning our family , so, when the pap came back abnormal, with high level changes, of course i got worried, the weird thing is that i have had all normal pap’s before so this came as a total surprise [more..]

  I am 35 years old. I received the news of an abnormal pap smear (January 07) and was told that I tested positive for the low risk and high risk forms of HPV I was upset and ashamed. Until now, I didn’t really understand how prevelant HPV is in our society. I always practiced safe sex, went for yearly checkups, etc. and was shocked when I found out. I didn’t know that you still can contract HPV using a condom through any type of skin to skin contact. [more..]

  Hello, first let me tell you all that I am so happy that this site is up it really helps. I’m 21 yrs. old, have a three-year-old daughter and just had another baby. Before I got pregnant the second time a pap came back abnormal, we did a copo and they said it was low risk. So while pregnant again a pap came back abnormal, another copo was done. [more..]

  I was diagnosed with HPV in January. When I found out how someone could contact this virus, I was shocked and embarassed. I was not in a relationship with anyone for a very long time. I was so busy with my career that I tended to push relationships to the side. I was surprised to find out that once you are affected with this virus, it takes a long time for it to cause damage, but once the damage begins it can be costly. [more..]
• IVF Discovered CIN 1-2 - by Emet - (Mon, Aug 06 2007)
  My Husband and I started the IVF journey due to male factor and well on our way, found out that I had an abnormal PAP. The result suggested Severe Dysplasia/CIS. Thank god, the Colposcopy results came back CIN 1 cervix and CIN 2 endocervix. We are now waiting to find out what our next step is and whether or not we can proceed with IVF or do the LEEP which will delay IVF at least 6 months with healing time. [more..]
