To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download worried I am 29 years old, married with a 22 month old at home. I have been having PAP tests for the 13 years. Earlier this year, I had my first abnormal PAP and was diagnosed with HPV as well as having moderate dysplasia. I had a LEEP procedure done at the end of June. My Dr. was confident that she got all of the dysplasia. But I am still worried that it is still there or will come back. I go back for another PAP in January, but I am not sure if I can wait. I really want to get pregnant again and have another baby, but I am nervous to do so because of the dysplasia. I am scared that something will happen to me or the baby. My body is saying that it wants to get pregnant, but my mind is telling me to wait for at least 2-3 PAPs to come back normal. I guess my other concern, is what if the next PAP comes back with more dysplasia?? I just don’t know if I can handle all of this. I am so scared, and no one in my family can really understand. I don’t know anyone who has been through this that I can talk to. I just need to know what is going on, so much so that I think I am going to call to see if I can move up my first PAP after the LEEP to this month instead of waiting until January. If anyone out there has any advice, please share! Thank you! Comments
