To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Nervous but hopeful Well i am a 25yr old mother of a 2 year old son. I wen’t to my gyno for my regular pap smear in October of 07, thats when i got that wonderful call that it was abnormal. Of coarse the first thing i thought was cancer. I was scheduled for a Copo which was done 4 weeks later, so the waiting honestly was the worst!! But the procedure itself was not bad at all. The doctor did do one biopsy which did come back moderate dysplasia and HPV The weird thing was i wasn’t upset but more glad i did catch this in time. My doctor told me to come back in February for another pap and to see if the hpv is still present. He feels that we dont need to cut at my cervix right now. I love my doctor and trust him but i am nervous about it changing into invasive cancer, so i go in about 5 weeks and i guess will see what happens. I am scared but hopeful and have my trust in GOD. That is what gets me through these scary situations. So try to less scared and realize millions of woman have this and your not alone!! God Bless Comments
