To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Mild Dyspasia [Dysplasia] I just turned 28 years old and received the call of an abnormal pap for the first time a couple weeks ago. I didn’t know what to think, I was scared and confused. I’m still a little of both. My doctor is being very informative and sincere about the whole thing. When he called to tell me about the abnormal pap, he let me know that I came up positive for HPV So, I went in for the colscopy last week and got the results this morning that I have mild dysplasia. My doctor has given me two options, 1. I can wait 6 months and have another pap smear, but if it comes back abnormal again I would have to get another coloscopy. It could get worse, but it could get better. Option 2 is that I have LEEP. I haven’t had much of a chance to do any research on this yet, but if anyone has any advice or would like to let me know what LEEP is like I would greatly appreciate it. So, here I am, left with this decision to make. I’m leaning toward LEEP, just because I don’t want to go through the coloscopy again if I don’t have to. Comments
