To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Anxious and waiting Well I’m 22 years old and in February of 2005 I was diagnosed with Genital Warts I was completely devastated. I got the treatment and in about a month the warts had disappeared. I continued to get regular paps done on a yearly basis. All of my paps came out normal after that incident. Just recently in December of 2007 I had another regular checkup and my results came back abnormal. I thought how could this be? For the last 3 years all of my paps came back normal. I just thank God that I used condoms with my partners. I went and got the biopsy done and my results came back with mild dysplasia. My doctor said that it doesn’t need treatment and that it should dissolve on it’s own. I asked her why all of a sudden it would come back and she says that sometimes it lays dormant and then can come back. Also I use to be a smoker, then I realized that cigarette smoking can cause the cells of the cervix to become abnormal. I immediately quite because my health is most important. I exercise more and eat much better. The my doctor says that if I keep up what I am doing then this problem should eliminate itself. Since being diagnosed it has opened my eyes to a number of different things and I definitely am living a much better life since then. My advise to everyone is to just keep faith and make your life style changes for the better. I did and I happier now than when I was before I was even diagnosed with HPV Comments
