To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Another Colpo???? I have my first abnormal pap last June, which came back LGSIL. So, I did the routine colpo due to the abnormal pap, which came back LGSIL CIN 1 HPV So, doc says “no worries, this kind usually goes away on it’s own after 18-24 months”, so exactly 1 year later, I come back for my yearly pap and whadya know…..LGSIL. And of course doc says it’s colpo time again. I’m thinking….if this is the kind that goes away 70%-80% of the time on it’s own in 18-24 months……why bother with another colpo?? Would another colpo result seriously come back “cancer in situ”……I would find that hardly unlikely, since the pap was LGSIL and “supposedly” that’s the “watch and wait” one. So, from the cervical goddesses out there…..do you think it’s necessary for me to have the doc take a chunk of the good ‘ole cervix and another birth canal scrapin again for such a non-threatening abnormality? P.S. My cervix is begging you to say “heck no”. Comments
