Hello to all. I would like to share my story with anyone who would like to listen because I think this site is very important and this is a bit of a hidden topic in medicine. So here goes…I am a doctor and I have absolutely no risk factors other than being sexually active (not even as a young woman!). On my most recent pap, I had ACUS (Abnormal Cells of Unknown Significance).

Three years ago I went in for my PAP and was mailed a “polite” letter stating that it was abnormal. A few short weeks later a second letter came and informed me that I was infected with HPV I was so upset and felt that I had no where to turn.

- Just Had 2nd LEEP Procedure - by Stephanie in CNY - (Tue, May 12 2009)
I am almost 40 years old, and have just had my second LEEP (electrocauterization) procedure to have stage 3 (severe) dysplasia cell tissue removed.
