Just got a cone biopsy done today

So about 3 years ago I found out I had HPV mind you I was like 18! Had no idea what it was at the time. Since then all my papa came back abnormal I’ve had 3 coLposcopys done within the last 3 years and I guess that 3rd one is a charm. I was diagnosed with severe dysplasia ..my doctor sat me down and told me he had bad news as if I were gonna die. I was horrified! I didn’t know what it was or what I had all I heard was cancer! My doctor said I had the worse one there is but that it’s not cancer YET! so thank god they found it and I got my surgery done today I just hope everyting comes out just fine! Everything is in gods hands so Ill just pray :)

    I’m actually the mother of the 17yr old. My daughter was 16 when she had her first abnormal pap. She had a repeat and then we were notified that she had HGSIL and severe HPV She wasn’t very open with me when started with all this, I guess thinking I would think the worst of her.     When I was 23 I had my first pap come back abnormal. At that time it was mildly abnormal, and they weren’t too concerned. I then had a colposcopy, and after that was sent to have further treatment. [more..]
