To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Cervical Dysplasia I was recently diagnosed with Cervical Dysplasia I had no symptoms and my pap came back minimally abnormal for the first time in my life. They called me in for a biopsy of the cervics. The biopsy was performed by a physicians assistant and was a bit painful. My second visit was “a talk” with the real doctor and my first freezing. The doctor stated that in his 20 years in the practice that he had only seen a minimal pap come back so terrible after the biopsy three times and one was mine. He then told me that I was a stage 3 which is the stage before cancer. He said there were two things that he would suggest doing one would be a lazer surgery where he would remove the tip of the cervics or he do a freezing and watch it and more than likely have to do another freezing. He did state since I am 25 with no children that he preferred to try the freezing because there is a small pregnancy risk (dialating and not knowing it and losing the fetus) with doing the lazer surgery. The freezing was a lot less painful than the biopsy and kind of felt like a bad menastral cramp. I am sitting here 30 minutes later writing this and am still a little crampy but nothing that midol can’t take care of. I just want younger woman to know that it would be in your best interest to go through with the guardesil shot. Comments
