Endometrial Carcinoma

by: Pamela on Fri, Jun 15 2007

I found the reason for my difficulty conceiving was endometrial adenocarcinoma. At 29 this was heartbreaking. I was honestly more devastated at the time at the prospect of never being a mother. That was 11 years ago. I adopted two beautful girls and have been cancer free following hysterectomy and removal of both ovaries.

I chose to keep my diagnosis from many friends and family members as I was determined not to let it upset too many people and I couldn’t cope with being the reason for pain in people I cared about. This decision asked a lot from those I did share my pain with. I wish I had had access to sites like this at the time. Love to anyone coping with diagnosis and treatment now….be gentle on yourself.
