battle with endo-even on ureter

by: BAD on Fri, Jan 11 2008

I am 39 yrs old and had a hysterectomy in May ‘07 due to fibroid on uterus, cyst on cervix, multiple cysts on ovaries. Found out had severe endo & should have had it removed 2 years earlier (which I didn’t know I had). The problem is I have been in extreme chronic pain since and drs. have “brushed” me off recently..I guess they think I am faking.

I had another lap. sugery in Oct and sure enough they removed more endo and had to “leave” even more on my ureter for fear of damaging the ureter. I have had my appendix removed, gallbladder tests are normal. SEVERE pain daily, on FML from my employment, cannot do anything anymore because of the pain. The pain radiates from where the endo is all the way up to my kidney.

Has anyone ever had endo on their ureters and what did you do? My gyno. knows the endo is there but told me last week to find another dr. I can’t take the synthetic hormones, make me real sick. HELP!
