I have always had pain during my period and I have always went months between my periods. The doctors just put me on birth control and told me that the pill would cure my problem. A year after I had my daughter, I was going to the bathroom to get ready for work. The next thing I remember my husband was picking me up out of the floor. He took me to the ER and they told me I had cysts on my ovaries and one had ruptured. I had to follow up with my OBGYN. He suggested laproscopy surgery. I agreed, but only after asking many questions. After the surgery, he told me I had endo. The pain subsided for a little over a year. My husband and I have been trying to have another child for two years and have not succeeded. I took fertility drugs but that did not help. Now my pain is so excrutiating that I can’t even have intercourse with my husband. He promises that everything is alright but it bothers me knowing that I can’t even share that special bond with my husband anymore. My doctor says that I can have surgery again and it will cure the pain for a year. He also says that it might increase my chances of getting pregnant. I am undecided at what to do. I want another child. I already have one and am thankful that God blessed me with her. My relationship with my husband is what I worry about. Comments
