During surgery, it was discovered that the right ovary was damaged beyond repair and this was removed. Thinking that this was the end, I went on with my life. Approximately one year ago, I became extremely ill. A CT scan showed a blockage in my intestines. Again surgery followed with the final report being that this was caused by endometriosis Two weeks ago, my gynecologist discovered another mass around my left ovary. Again another scan followed, the report of which has confirmed what was found by my gynecologist I am yet to meet him again, but from my previous visit, it seems as though my options are limited. I am 32 years, never been sexually active and was unsure of whether marriage and kids were for me, even though I have been in a reltionship for the past four years. However, I always believed that the decision to have children would be my choice…not one that is taken away from me. I am scared, not sure of what to do. I am even thinking of separating from my boyfriend because I know that his greatest goal is to have a family. We are both torn about it, and trying to put our faith in God, but it’s hard….so very hard. Comments
