Living with High Blood Pressure

My name is Sheila I have had hypertension for a very long time and doctors dont have a proper diagnosis for me yet to shorten it they dont really know what is wrong with me so I have found this sight and would like to put my notes in and if a doctor comes across them I hope he could shed some light on whats wrong with me.Okay here goes this is a letter I received from the Endocrine Clinic .

DIAGNOSIS
Probable primary hyperaldosteronism

CURRENT TREATMENT
Spironolactone 25mg, two mane

PLAN
CT adrenals scheduled for the 29 Sept 2007.
Follow-up with me 1-2 weeks later to discuss further action depending on the CT scan result.
24hr urine catecholamines requested

OTHER DIAGNOSIS
Migraine headaches
CIN1-HPV with previous LETZ procedure
Multiple antihypertensive drug intolerances to both ACE inhibitors and candersarten (cough), felodipine (headache), thiazides (hypokalaemia). Diltiazem was ineffective and beta-blocker not tried.

I saw Sheila together with two 5th year medical students at Endocrinology on the 17 September 2007. A strong suspicion of primary hyperaldosteronism is emerging as a result of your own treatment and the finding of a raised aldosterone/renin ratio of 558/
