To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download IC and all ages As i was reading these stories of other people having IC I realized many of you all are older with kids and all. I decided to write my story and show younger people they are not alone either. I am a 17 year old girl that has IC and it really affects me. For about 2 years I was living with IC that was affecting me everyday. I complained many times but my parents, doctors, no one knew what could be the problem. They did many tests and everything usually came out negative. This past year they had officially diagnosed me with IC from the test taken in the hospital. But it wasn’t until months later they got the news back to my doctor. I still have yet to get medicine from the long process and uncaring people around. I urniate about 4 times every hour. That is to say the least. I can have my good days and I can have my bad days. Like all others with IC, that is just one of the symptons we have. I hate that I have to plan my moments in my life around me having to go to the bathroom. How long I can take at one place. What food I can and can’t eat. etc. I feel no one is aware of what people with IC are living with; and what is going on, including proffesionals. My only hope is people become more aware of IC. Thank you for reading this. Comments
