OAB - getting depressed and helpless
by: sd on Wed, May 16 2007

To start out, I had a second child about 1 1/2 yrs ago, (both children 6 and 1 1/2 are c section). This oab i noticed didnt start til about 4 months after I had the baby. Now, I have been on detrol which didnt work and other too, like santcura vesicare, which caused more stomache pain and dry mouth and constipation that I wouldnt take the meds anymore, which didnt seem to work all that well.

If i cough, i dont leak, but, if i go pee, and i can still feel like i have some in there, but i wipe, get up, wash hands, by that time, i am leaking about a quarter size. my problem is that, even only half the time when my bladder if full, i dont leak too much.. my trigger, is AFTER i pee, i then get up, and leak. ive been to several doctors. they havent told me any key things to not drink or eat, im helpless. not only do i wear pads everyday, i feel like i can smell it, its embarassing, to where sometimes i just put tissue in there. ive lost that fun sexuality with my husband, oh wait a second, let me go take my tissue out!?!! This is embarassing, and taking over my life.

Sometimes I just feel i wanna make them reconstruct me. My doctor told me there is NO surgery to cure it. and what if i want another (my last) baby? if you have this problem also, id love to hear. Also, i now get infections, cause i wear nylons at work, and sit for 8 hours, so moisture is a add on gift i get also.
