To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Angry and Suicidal Hi, I am 40 years old and suffer from what my Doctor says is the “worst PMS ever”. Previously every 28 days I would become paranoid, weepy, irritated, angry, violent and suicidal, and just when I thought I was a complete madwoman the period would start! Normally I love life and am very positive and confident! For the past two years I am on birth control pills and was advised to skip the periods and just continually take the pills. This worked okay for awhile as it reduced the periods from 12 to about 4 per year but recently I was struck with PMS without warning and was almost successful in taking my own life as I was unaware it was PMS!! Now my Doctor has recommended me for a hysterectomy (with removal of ovaries) to be followed by hormone replacement therapy. I want to share with other women you are not crazy! I will keep you posted on my ongoing treatments (including whether a hysterectomy will work). Thank you my sisters for your support. Comments
