At that time i was put on birth control to help regulate my periods. I was pregnant in three months. After I gave birth to a healthy baby the doctor’s put my on the depo shot. I was pregnant within four months. I had another baby boy. This time I was determined that I was not taking birth control, I was not having sex anymore, so had no reason other than to have excrutiating periods that last forever. I went on having to take medicine to bring on a period every three months, for about four years. I complained to my doctor abot hair growth on my face, and they put me back on birth control I was pregnant within 3 months. It has been years since I have taken birth control My doctor’s think that the birth control works differently with my system, it makes me fertile. I gained about 70lbs. since I found out I was pregnant with my third child. I fought over the same 20 lbs. for many years. I now take metformin for insulin resistance, and have lost some weight I am feeling pretty good. I have not had anymore children since I don’t take birth control anymore. I did try spironolactone for the hair growth. That medicine makes you feel really crappy, and doesn’t stop the hair growth unless you are trying to lose the hair on the top of your head. When you go out in public you have to be aware of your apperance at all times, and you never know when you are going to get a period so you never get to relax you are always worried what if….
