To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Just found out about RSD It all started when I work on the ramp as a fueler, that’s right fueling jumbo jets of major air lines. Well I was standing plane side talking to ramp agent, when another ramp agent came driving up from behind me so close that there was not enough time for the person I was talking to warn me. Before I knew it I felt my pants tug and turn to see this ramp agent smiling while he was on top of my foot. He drove over the back of my achilles and ankle trapping me under the tug vehicle. I scream for him to stop and back up cause he was on my foot and I was wearing steel toe shoes and I didn’t want him to go any further; cause I knew for sure I would lose my toes. So he had to back off of my ankle. I immediately jump out of my shoe. I felt my foot was on fire. My shoes were steel toe but not in the back. So now I suffer, I have a burning pain I can’t stand. I want to end my suffering. I’ve had two EMG’s and bone scan, x-rays, MRI’s twice. Therapy for [a while] and now back in therapy. I now walk with a cane. My new doc is getting me a new device to walk with some kind of shoe boot which is better than the one I was in for over 6 months. I have sleep apena [apnea] now, I maybe sleep 3 hours a day. My food intake is less cause I’m constantly reminded of the burning and numbness of my baby toe. My ankle is so big some days it looks like a grapefruit. I’m only 39 and have been fired by my job, insurance doctors… well lets just say I found a doctor that will help me. My pain now runs up my leg and into my butt. I had an active life, dancing, softball, you name it. I was active. I can’t even focus on having children right now due to the pain, so I’m childless. RSD has taken over my body and the fire of the burn keeps getting worse. I pray for healing and the ability to run and just stand on both legs for one whole minute with out falling over. No luck so far. Comments
