nightmare of RSD

GOD bless y all that have this.Ive had RSD for 10 years, i got it after a foot operation, it got so bad nothing could touch my rt foot,the burning was intense and the hot needles,they tryed nerve blocks in my spine, did ok for the 1st 2, then they hit a nerve in my rt side and then nothing could touch that area either. FOR 2 MOUTHS i was in bad shape.
I went to a herbest and started me on a herb called PASSION FLOWER, it heals the nerve endings. Well i got better, and i was a gas and eletric meter reader, i walked 5 to 8 miles a day up and dn hill and basment steps, i took 3 pill 3 times a day till bottle was gone and 2nd bottle i took 2 pills 3 times a day till bottle gone. Then i just kept a bottle in case it kicked and then i would take the pills for 1 or 2 days and it was fine.
Well almost 3 years ago, May 31st to be exact, i fell and broke my tail bone and the rt side of my pelvice, for 2 years no test would show why i was n such pain, i was sent to Mayfield Spine Inst. and this GREAT Dr. in 20 minutes said it was my tailbone, long story short they cut off my tailbone and cut off the nerve that went over top, it got rid of my 24-7 paine but no one listened to me about the sweats, hot needles, cramps, and just feeling tired and bad. Well now they know RSD, its back and in both my feet, and my butt, well im very head strong, and was raised Dont feel sorry for yourself, their is always someone worse off, now im human i get depressed,puls besides the RSD from the injury i cant set normal, i have to put all my weight on my left hip, its getting to my back, but GOD helps me alot!!!!!!!!!!! and i have a great husband to supports me.
im back on the Herbs, and God willen i will beat it again, Please dont gv up and i know it hurts but stay ACTIVE thats so important dont lay alot you will loose mucle , take small walks, streach alot , even if it hurts keep those muscles , dont gv in. if you need me to just talk call me, [moderator note: phone number has been removed], i lv in Cin. Unlike many here, my RSD didn’t occur until recently. My story is long, but I will try to make it as short as I can.
In August, I went to my PCP as I had a pain in my heel, but could not find anything wrong that would cause pain. I basically went because I am flat footed and have diabetes

My RSD started in 2002 after I had an accident involving my right knee at work. I have been through 6 knee surgeries by the same M.D. I am now in the 3rd. stage-Atrophic.

I WAS AT A COMPANY CHRISTMAS PARTY IN 2003 WHEN I KICKED A CHAIR GOING UP TO DANCE. I WALKED ON MY FOOT FOR A WEEK AND WENT TO THE DOCTOR.

Left foot surgery in July of ‘08, diagnosed with RSD in Sep. Began 30 days of steroids, then neurontin. The nerve conduction study shows poly neuropathy (both legs), and now on Cymbalta and Neurontin for nerve pain.

In oct/9/06 I was a back seat passenger in a taxi cab, the driver went to change to the right lane and he was not paying attention,( he was driving with a broken arm and talking on the cell phone with the other) so after his lane change we hit a car as traffic was stopped, I flew out of my seat and hit my shoulder on the passenger back seat

Five years ago I fell and twisted my foot in Karate class and it hurt a little bit. I walked on it for three months and it finally got so bad I couldn’t stand it, I had a fracture which put me in a cast for 8 weeks and I was in amazing pain I hadn’t felt before.

my son was just turning 3 when i fell 9 to 10 fell out of a garage attic to a cement floor and broke my heal bone. i was doing ok basic break just need a good dr so i went to a detroit hospital for help.
