To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Babies are miracles When I was 15 I got pregnant by my high school sweetheart. I had my daughter in 2003, when I was 16. The father and I decided to keep the baby and to get married. I was very lucky that he was there for me and our daughter. My husband finished school while I was still pregnant, but I had to go through my sophmore year pregnant, and then go through both my junior and senior years with a little baby to take care of. It has been very hard trying to raise this little girl and still try to be myself and work towards my dreams. My husband got his associates degree in electrical engineering last year and I am still working towards my associates in criminal justice. We have been very lucky to have each other and still being able to live out our dreams. It has been hard for both of us and I would not recommend getting pregnant/or getting a girl pregnant until you’re older and ready. A baby is a miracle that is so special, but a teenager is just a child. If you are a teenager do not make the same mistake I did, it will be harder than you ever thought it would be. You will lose yourself and it will take you awhile to figure out who you are and what it is you really want out of life. Think twice before you say yes! Comments
