To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Just another teen statistic. I’m 16 years old and just found out that I am about 5 weeks along. It’s scary. I’ve told my mother, but not my dad (who I live with). I got pregnant one night while I was at a party with some friends. Things got a little out of hand, I was upset and crying in one of the bedrooms and one of my friends (who happened to be my best friends ex) came in to comfort me. One thing led to another and we ended up having sex. He hasn’t been talking to me for about the past 3 or 4 weeks, so I don’t know how to tell him. And worst of all, I don’t know how to tell my best friend. We hit a rough patch when she found out because she felt betrayed, but she eventually learned to deal with it. But a few weeks ago she told me that she didn’t know what she’d do if I got pregnant. “I would probably kill you both.” I think she was kidding, but I know that she would be hurt and upset. I don’t know how to tell her without losing her as a friend. I’m scared that I’m going to be completely alone in this. My dad is the kind of guy who will be upset but will deal with it, but I don’t think the baby’s dad will want to talk to me, and I don’t want to make him feel like he has to. I just don’t know how to feel about all of this. Advice? Comments
