Living with Teen Pregnancy

hi my name is Monique. i just had a beautiful daughter name Ja’Miya Kamani. i was with her dad for 4 yrs going on 5. we are not together right now because he don’t know how to act. he styed in trouble all the time even when i was pregnant.

When I was pregnant, he was so good to me. We were so happy that the baby was coming. We was thinking about me moving in with him and his mom. i was going to finish school , We were going to get married and everything. like we had a life that anyone would dream of. but it didn’t work like that. because he started messing up.

i couldnt deal with his foolishness. I Love my baby’s father to death but I just cant put up with it. I am a senior in high school and taking care of my baby without his help. he tell me that he gone do right and he don’t never succeed with his goals. I was the only one who kept him on his toes. I did any and everyhting for him. it wasn’t nothing in this world that i wouldn’t do for him. even now to this day.

Him and my daughter are my hearts. I want to be with him so bad but I cant be with nobody that is not doing anything with his life so he can take care of his daughter. he tell me that he is going to come get her and never do. he always call me and tell that he dont have a ride.

But right now i am struggling in school. Im trying to do the best that i can. i have senior project that is due and im getting it done little by little. my daughter likes alot of attention so i can barely get anything done.

but all I can tell you teen girls out here that think you want a baby . its not fun being pregnant and having a baby without the father. some girls think that it is cute to have a baby at a young age and it is not. but it is fun when you watching your child grow and learn different things each and everyday. Ladies just be safe and use protection that’s all you have to do.
