To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download 16 and Pregnant (what joy) Hi, my name is Savannah. Two months after my sixteen birthday I found out I was pregnant. I had sex with my long time friend that I have known since I was about 8 or 9 years old. We were just friends and thats all we thought it was going to be, until one night I went over to his house and with a couple other friends of his. Basically everybody at our school knew that we liked each other but we just didnt go out. After his other friends left his house, I was the only one there and nobody else. We were just sitting up in his room on the computer doing nothing really..and then after that we just had sex (without any protection). I waited at least 2-4 weeks without telling my mom and dad. I told my mom first and she understood..but she got really angry with me and then I told me dad and he just blew me off… he didnt want anything to do with me. I didnt tell the father’s baby (my best friend) until I told my mom and dad. He thought that I should give up for adoption or just keep it. My mom thought that I should just get an abortion but I said “No way in hell am I going to kill this baby”. 4 months after I figured out I was pregnant, the baby’s father’s left me because he didnt want to have a baby and his mom and dad told him to stay away from me because I was too young to have a child. I got really angry with him and his parents because how could you just leave me when I just found out I got pregnant?! I mean I really would like to have my baby have a father and it just hurts me that he just left me like that. So now, without the father, I have a beautiful son named Aiden (that I got to keep). My mom watches him since she doesnt go to work anymore. But in the end without the father I am still doing pretty good, I am in college and I raise my son with my mom and dad. Comments
