To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Alister James ~September 20th~ I got pregnant in December of 2008 and I was 15. I turned 16 on March 4th, and am now 5 months and 2 weeks pregnant. The father is 20. On May 5th, we found out that we’re having a baby boy who we named Alister James ^.^ Before we found out, I kept getting sick. And it being winter at the time, we thought it was normal, but we kept pregnancy in mind. When my period didn’t come for about two days, my boyfriend, and two of our other friends came with me to a local super market to buy a pregnancy test. My friend Devan, (who is a girl) took a test with me so that we could compare the two. They were different. I almost passed out in the bathroom from being happy and excited all in the same. (mind you, this wasn’t a planned out pregnancy lol) When I told my boyfriend, he smiled and hugged me tightly. We both sat down to collect ourselves, and suddenly my body went cold. We would have to tell my mother… Now what’s odd about my mother and I, is that she got pregnant with me at 15, and had me at 16. My father was 19 when I was born. My father is also adopted, and so is my boyfriend. So as you can imagine, my mother was very upset and surprised that this would happen to her daughter as well. I didn’t tell my mother at first. I waited for about a week, fearing what was in store for me. My mother liked to use the police against me quite often, and I knew this would be one of those times. Devan and I were watching the movie Juno for the millionth time lol and I guess that’s what really possessed me to tell her. And as soon as my little sister of 10 heard, she started calling all the neighbors and her friends, and telling them about me being pregnant. I think I was more angry at my sister despite my mother’s comments and name calling. But fast forwarding to today, things are going great. My morning sickness is gone, (very happy about that ^.^) my friends make fun of my tummy because it’s getting so big, (I’m a very small person, and this is the first time that my tummy’s been so big.) my boyfriend is my biggest supporter throughout all of this, and I’m very happy that he’s still around for our son and I. Even though him and I fight like day and night, (literally) I would never wish any of this away. And even though this was an unplanned pregnancy, we plan to have our little A.J., and I plan to move onto college. Alister will be opening his eyes to the world on September 20th, (or so they say lol) and we’re very anxious to meet him. Only three and a half months to go! w00t! Comments
