To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Sacral Nerve Stimulation I had an interstim implanted after the trial period. I had great sucess with the trial. I met with my doctor today and he read my x-ray. He explained that he wated to “redo” the surgery and place the wire from the stimulator on the other side of the sacrem nerve, as it has not given me relief, only more discomfort (I void more frequently now) I went thru great pain, discomfort and took off three weeks of work and still 3 months later feel discomfort and not myself with the unit inside me. I void every 30 minutes to one hour, which is worse than before. Has anyone gone thru this surgery more than once before they acheived success? I do not mind trying again but I was out of work for over 2 months which is really rough when you own a business. Please write me back if this surgery worked the second time around. I am in such a dilemma as to what I should do. Remove it or try again. Any suggestions? Comments
